Every year, my now husband and I complete a running challenge for cancer awareness with another foundation or society. Just to give you some insight on what I mean....
In 2019, I ran 40 miles average a month for cancer awareness raising funds to local charity foundation in Miami. In 2020, I completed a half marathon for a foundation in Marco Island. Unfortunately, the race was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but I completed it virtually with a friend and kept my promise for the donations. In 2021, my husband and I completed the LLS 72-mile challenge for leukemia awareness.
This year, with the start of this foundation in memory of my younger brother, we invite you to participate in our challenge.
Completing 72 miles of active activity in the month of October. You can run, walk, skip, jump, hopscotch, or even jumprope your way to the 72 miles. This challenge does not require a monetary donation, although one would be greatly appreciated and go towards our grant giving program.
We want to see everyone excited about supporting our cause and promoting cancer awareness in our communities! Tag us on social media. Share your achievements each day and the mission the Alexander Trujillo Foundation has.

Why 72 miles you ask? My younger brother, Alexander Trujillo, was 21 years old when he was diagnosed with Leukemia. He fought a the battle against it for 1 year exactly, so leukemia is close to home. We are starting the first challenge in his memory with a 72 mile challenge.
Day 1 of the Challenge!
